| (August 1st, 2008) | |
Well the day is almost over, and I am very tired, I worked 6:30-3:00 which went by very quickly which was excellent, very happy about that. I am trying to find a website where by one gets paid to complete surveys, offers etc similar to email cash and CashCrate etc. Although I want one where you receive real cash instead of points and vouchers. No luck so far, if anyone knows of an, please do let us know, that would be great, thankyou. So my mother and her partner have gone out to Goolwa for tea with some friends, and I am left alone, watching 28 Weeks Later, the sequel to 28 Days Later, which I happened to enjoy, hopefully this one will be just as good. I must be up again at 5am to open tomorrow, so I will not be having a very late night. Here are some images of my new lamp and tins purchased from IKEA yesterday:
I recently joined Neon Glow Forums, which I am quite happy about, seems to be a good and active community, unlike others which I have previously been a member of, the people there are nice and seem to have a lot to talk about, I highly recommend joining. And to all those commenter’s I promise they will be returne, because there are oh so many to keep up with, Laughs. end. Posted in money, Shopping, Flickr, Work, life | 8 Comments »

| Ethan Luke Wennam! | |
| (July 31st, 2008) | |
Good news, I am an unlce, again! YAY. Last night my mother and I got a phone call from the hospital saying that my sister had gone into labor, this was at around 12:30am. So my mother and I quickly awoke rushing, to get dressed and up there, as it is an hour and a half’s drive from where we are. I had only just had a shower and layed in bed when we got the call so as of yet I have only had an hours sleep whilst in the visitors lounge at the hospital. We had just gotten to the hospital, we were trying to find a car park, when we got another call, he had been born already, his name is Ethan Luke Wennam, weighing in at 7.10 lbs, a little baby boy. My mother was so upset that we had missed it, the delivery was so fast though, and all of the car parks were full or had chains up. Once we found a car park we rushed up to my sisters room, where we finally got to see the little fella. We stayed up all morning with my sister(Bec), her partner Brian and his mother talking and cuddling the little guy.
At about nine in the morning mum and I decided to head off, we wanted to go to IKEA, where I bought a new green lamp with an energy saving globe, some cardboard magazine holders, colourful tins and a couple of things for little Ethan. |

| A new layout, a horrible day. | |
| (July 28th, 2008) | |
Hello there everyone, as you can see I have changed the layout, although it is not as new as you would think, I used this design waaay back, before I suddenly disappeared a few months ago, I wasn’t happy with the layout I had up, it was too big, too chunky and dark, easy resolution I think. This morning I woke up at 4:45am to get ready for work, it was freezing cold, I could hardly feel my feet. I ate some grilled turkish bread and turkey for breakfast, YUM might I add. I went on to shave, do my hair, iron my shirt, drink my coffee and brush my teeth. It was nearing six o’clock and I really felt like a cigarette, although mums boyfriend was still here, he usually leaves and 5:30am as he works in the city as a building contractor. So I was trying to organize my time so that I would have everything ready and as soon as he left I could have a smoke, i heard his car engine start up, and away he went, down the drive way. Finally I could relieve my craving, but BLOODY hell it was 6 o’clock. I ran and hid the cigarette back in my room, grabbed my keys and went outside to go. I was just about to get in the car, when i noticed the unusually thick layer of ice covering my car, I reached for the door handle to get in, CRACK, the ice around my handle snapped off and the door was jammed shut, I had to get off to work so I went back inside, woke mother up and told her I was taking her car. “Okay” she replied and off I went. When I got to work I realized I didn’t have my locker key, where was it, but on my set of keys I had left at home for mother, for when my car had thawed out. I had to lock all my things up in the drawer at work. The note that was left from the night before revealed that three of out seventeen registers were out, the EFTPOS was down and were not working at all, ohh what a great start to the day it was. end. |
